Downloading Default Billing Templates for LEDES 2000

The L2Ktemplate.zip file contains the updated default template for ICBC LEDES 2000 billing.

NOTE:

These steps only apply to the Ledes 2000 (L2K) format. If you will be using the Ledes 1998B format, DO NOT download the L2Ktemplate.zip file.

Take the following steps to save the L2K billing template in the PCLaw® software:

  1. Click the L2Ktemplate.zip link.
  2. Unzip the file and save the L2K Template folder to your desktop.
  3. Open the PCLaw software.
  4. Click Help and select About PCLaw.
  5. Press and hold the Shift + Ctrl keys and click Tech Support.
  6. Click Static.
  7. Click Shell To to open the CMD window.
  8. Enter Start. in the CMD window to open the statdata folder.
  9. Copy the contents of the L2K Template folder to the statdata folder.
  10. Return to the PCLaw software.
  11. Click Options and select Custom Tabs.
  12. Select L2K in the Tab Name column.
  13. Click Change.
  14. Double-click in the Associated Template Box and select L2K from the list.
  15. Click Next.
  16. Click Finish.
  17. Close the Custom Tabs window.
