Changing the GST/HST Rate for a Single Matter

You can change the GST/HST Rate for a single matter from the Matter Manager.

Take the following steps to change the GST/HST Rate on a single matter:

  1. Click File and select Matter Manager... to open the Matter Manager window.
  2. Enter the matter number of the matter for which you want to change the GST/HST rate in the Matter box, and press Tab on your keyboard.
  3. Click the Billing tab.
  4. Click Taxes... to open the Matter Manager - Taxes window.
  5. Enter the new rate in both the GST/HST on Fees and the GST/HST on Disbursements boxes.
  6. Click OK to return to the Matter Manager window.
  7. Click Save/Close to save your changes and close the Matter Manager.

NOTE:

You need to click Save/Close to change the settings.
