Fast Print Overview
Fast Print allows you to print documents without confirmation messages. Use Fast Print when you want to print a single copy to the default printer without changing text formatting or other options provided on the standard print form. You can print with one click when you use Fast Print with the lexis.com® Print/Download Utility. Fast Print requires a one-time setup procedure.

The following browsers work with the Fast Print option:
- Netscape® 6.21
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.01 sp2 thru Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0

Setting up Fast Print
Take the following steps to set up Fast Print:- Click
in the upper right section of the Search Results screen to display the Fast Print setup instructions.
- Select a LexisNexis dedicated printer or a format for attached print as the default for the FAST Print feature
- Click Set to complete the registration process.
- Click the Close Window button to return to the previous window.
Note: Fast Print requires a Java Script enabled browser.

Modifying the Fast Print Option
Take the following steps to modify the Fast Print Options:
- Click Preferences in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Locate the Fast Print preference in the lower left column.
- Select one of the following options from the Fast Print Preferences menu in the lower left column:
- Default Printer/Format
- Show job confirmation window
- Click Set to return to the previous window.

Using the Fast Print feature from a Cite List
Take the following steps to use Fast Print from a Cite list:
- Click the Fast Print button.
- Current Page
- Entire Cite list
- Cite
- KWIC
- Full
Note: If you haven't tagged any documents, the service displays a drop-down with the following options:
- Click Cite, KWIC, or Full to select a document delivery format.
NOTE:
If the Print Utility is installed, printing to the attached printer is seamless. If the print utility is not installed, the document opens your Word Processor. Click File and select Print on the word processor menu bar to print the document.

Using the Fast Print feature in KWIC or Full View
Take the following steps to use Fast Print from KWIC or Full View:
- Choose KWIC or Full view.
- Click the Fast Print button.
NOTE:
If the Print Utility is installed, printing to the attached printer is seamless. If the print utility is not installed, the document opens your Word Processor. Click File and select Print on the word processor menu bar to print the document.

The following options are not available when you use the Fast Print feature:

- Star Pagination
- Dual column disabling
