Time Matters System Requirements

The following assumes the most recent version of each product (11.1 SP1, 12 SP2, 13.1). Support positions may have been updated with a service release. Third-party products and versions unlisted below are not supported.

You need an internet connection to register and activate the product. LexisNexis does not support wireless networks with the Time Matters software. Our software is designed to operate on a Local Area Network (LAN). We do not operate on network technologies like Peer-to-Peer or token rings. Our software does require your network meet a minimum standard of network reliability. We can help you understand whether your network meets our standards. In the event your network requires upgrading we can connect you with a skilled Certified Partner to help.

Time Matters is not supported over a WAN (Wide Area Network). Connecting to the Time Matters database over a WAN or VPN may result in serious latency or inoperable software. Servers must reside on the same physical network, unless supported remote access technologies are used.

The original version of Windows 8.1 has limited support.) can be used as servers for firms with 5 or less connected workstations. LexisNexis strongly recommends that you run a business edition of Windows. Because of home edition limitations, LexisNexis does not support Home Premium as a server or client platform in an office that uses a domain controller, or as a server platform with more than 10 concurrent connections.
