Removing Old Entries Using the Purge Calendar Entries Window

You can use the Purge Calendar Entries window to remove Appointments, To Do's, Notes, Phone Calls, or Phone Messages.

Take the following steps to use the Purge Calendar Entries:

  1. Click Tools and select Purge Calendar Entries to open the Purge Calendar Entries window.
  2. Enter a matter number in the Matter box or leave it blank to purge entries for all matters.
  3. Enter a client number in the Client box or leave it blank to purge entries for all clients.
  4. Enter a lawyer in the Lawyer box or leave it blank to purge entries for all lawyers.
  5. Enter an appointment code in the Appt box or leave it blank to purge entries for all appointment codes.
  6. Enter a location code in the Location box or leave it blank to purge entries for all location codes.
  7. Enter a due date in the Start Date box to include records that you create on or before that date.
  8. Enter a due date in the End Date box to include records that you create on or before that date.
  9. Enter a completed date in the Start Date box to include records that you create on or before that date.
  10. Enter a completed date in the End Date box to include records that you create on or before that date.
  11. Click to check mark Appointments to add appointments to the entries you want to purge or uncheck it to remove appointments from this action.
  12. Click to check mark To Do's to add To Dos to the entries you want to purge or uncheck it to remove To Dos from this action.
  13. Click to check mark Notes to add notes to the entries you want to purge or uncheck it to remove notes from this action.
  14. Click to check mark Phone Calls to add phone calls to the entries you want to purge or uncheck it to remove phone calls from this action.
  15. Click Contact and select a contact or leave the box blank to purge entries for all contacts.
  16. Click to check mark Completed Entries to add completed items to the entries you want to purge or uncheck it to remove completed items from this action.
  17. Click to check mark Uncompleted Entries to add uncompleted items to the entries you want to purge or uncheck it to remove uncompleted items from this action.
  18. Click to check mark Print List of Entries to print a list of all entries PCLaw removes during the purge.
  19. Click OK.
  20. Click Yes at the Are you sure you want to continue purging the selected entries? prompt.

NOTE:

You cannot recover purged entries.
