The Comparative Time Analysis report reconciles to other PCLaw reports. The first column of the following table lists figures on the Comparative Time Analysis report. The second column provides the report where you can find a number to reconcile to the figure in the first column, and the third column tells you what figures reconcile to the Comparative Time Analysis report. The last column includes any special conditions that apply to the numbers you reconcile from the first and third columns. Always run the reconciling reports with a start date of 1/1/1982.

Common Reports that Do Not Reconcile to the Comparative Time Analysis
The Comparative Time Analysis does not reconcile to the Client Ledger or Client Summary because they list totals by Matter and not by Working Lawyer, Task Code or Type of Law.
The Time Values amount on the Comparative Time Analysis does not reconcile to the Time Listing or Time Summary because they do not include write offs in fees.
The Hours or Amount values on the Comparative Time Analysis do not reconcile to the Billable Time Summary by Working Lawyer because the Comparative Time Analysis report includes Non-Billable Tasks and write offs in the Hours and Fee values.
The Comparative Time Analysis does not reconcile to the Collection Summary because it only lists billed hours and fee values.
The Comparative Time Analysis does not reconcile to the Client WIP, Billing, & Collection Summary because Billed Fees on the Client WIP, Billing, & Collection Summary summarizes information by Responsible Lawyer.
The Comparative Time Analysis does not reconcile to the Lawyer WIP, Billing, & Collection Summary because the Lawyer WIP, Billing, & Collection Summary summarizes information by Fee Credit Lawyer and does not include unbilled fees with Non-Billable Task codes.
The Comparative Time Analysis does not reconcile to the Firm Cash & Fee Summary because the Comparative Time Analysis report includes fees as of the date you enter them and not when you bill them.
