Creating a Backup Using PCLaw with SQL Edition (Formerly Enterprise)

You need to perform the backup within the SQL Server Management Studio. Do not perform a backup in the PCLaw program.

Take the following steps to backup within the SQL Server Management Studio:

  1. Open the SQL Server Management Studio on the server.
  2. Click Connect to access the SQL Server Management Studio.
  3. Right-click on the PCLaw database in the left pane.
  4. Click Tasks.
  5. Click Back Up..., and select Full for the backup type.
  6. Select a destination for the backup.
  7. Click OK.
