Reinstalling the PCLaw® Software on One Workstation

NOTE:

Reinstalling from the local workstation is the easier. This is not always an option.

 

Recommended Reinstallation Steps

Take the following recommended steps to reinstall the program files on your computer:

  1. Verify that all programs are closed.
  2. Click Start and select All Programs, LexisNexis, PCLaw, and PCLaw Setup to open the Welcome window.
  3. Click Accept to accept the license agreement.
  4. Select Re-install PCLaw® programs on this computer.
  5. Click Next to open the Ready to Install window.
  6. Click Start to start the installation.
  7. Click Next on the Additional Stations window.
  8. Click Finish to close the Successful Installation window.

Alternative Reinstallation Steps

Take the following alternative steps to reinstall the program files on your computer:

  1. Verify that all programs are closed.
  2. Press Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run window.
  3. Enter [Data and network components]\PCLaw Data\Common\Install\Setup.exe in the Open field.
    NOTE: If you do not know path to your PCLaw Data, contact your IT group
  4. Click OK to open the Welcome window.
  5. Click Accept to accept the license agreement.
  6. Select Re-install PCLaw® programs on this computer.
  7. Click Next to open the Ready to Install window.
  8. Click Start to start the installation.
  9. Click Next on the Additional Stations window.
  10. Click Finish to close the Successful Installation window.
