Using the PCLaw License Window

The following describes how to update the PCLaw product license using an internet connection. PCLaw may need to be restarted after updating license information.

  1. Select About Lexis Back Office or Lexis Back Office powered by PCLaw from the Help drop-down menu.
  2. Click License to open the License Information window.
  3. Click Change.
  4. Click Yes on the confirmation prompt to cause PCLaw to update the license information over the internet. When finished, PCLaw returns to the License Information window and the fields remain grayed out. Current license information is now visible on this window.
  5. Click Close.
