Trust Balances Do Not Reconcile for the Trust Bank Journal, Client Trust Listing, or G/L

Problem Description:

There is an imbalance between the Client Trust Listing balance and the Trust Bank Journal balance or the General Ledger control accounts (sum of the 11xx Trust Bank accounts or 2100 Trust Funds Owed account balance). The imbalance can appear on the G/L Reconciliation report under the Trust Bank section.

An amount appears in the Client/Journal column of the G/L Reconciliation Report when there is an imbalance between the Client Trust Listing and the Trust Bank Journal. Partially posted entries can cause this imbalance. An amount appears in the Journal/G/L column of the G/L Reconciliation Report when there is an imbalance between the Trust Bank Journal and the G/L. Non-Trust Bank transactions that you allocate to the Trust Bank G/L control accounts (1100, 1101, 2100, etc.) creates the imbalance.
