Enabling Non-Adobe Plug-ins in Adobe Version 7

Take the following steps to enable non-Adobe plug-ins in Adobe version 7:

  1. Open Adobe.
  2. Click Edit from the menu bar and select Preferences to open the Preferences window.
  3. Click Startup in the Categories column.
  4. Click to uncheck the Use only certified plug-ins in the Application Startup area.
  5. Click OK to close the Preferences window.
  6. Close Adobe.

Take the following steps to enable non-Adobe plug-ins in Adobe versions 8 and 9:

  1. Open Adobe.

Re-initializing the LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage Macro

Take the following steps to re-initialize the LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage macro:

  1. Click File on the menu bar and select Setup, General, and Workstation Level to open the Workstation Level Setup window.
  2. Click Additional Program Setup to open the Additional Integration Setup window.
  3. Click to uncheck the Adobe box.
  4. Click OK to close the Additional Integration Setup window.
  5. Click OK to close the Workstation Level Setup window.
  6. Click File and select Exit to close the LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage software.
  7. Launch LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage.
  8. Click File on the menu bar and select Setup, General, and Workstation Level to open the Workstation Level Setup window.
  9. Click Additional Program Setup to open the Additional Integration Setup window.
  10. Verify that the Adobe box is checked.
  11. Click OK to close the Additional Integration Setup window.
  12. Click OK to close the Workstation Level Setup window.
  13. Open Adobe to verify that the PA Save icon is now on the toolbar.
