Enabling Non-Adobe Plug-ins in Adobe Version 7
Take the following steps to enable non-Adobe plug-ins in Adobe version 7:
- Open Adobe.
- Click Edit from the menu bar and select Preferences to open the Preferences window.
- Click Startup in the Categories column.
- Click to uncheck the Use only certified plug-ins in the Application Startup area.
- Click OK to close the Preferences window.
- Close Adobe.

Take the following steps to enable non-Adobe plug-ins in Adobe versions 8 and 9:
- Open Adobe.

Re-initializing the LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage Macro
Take the following steps to re-initialize the LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage macro:
- Click File on the menu bar and select Setup, General, and Workstation Level to open the Workstation Level Setup window.
- Click Additional Program Setup to open the Additional Integration Setup window.
- Click to uncheck the Adobe box.
- Click OK to close the Additional Integration Setup window.
- Click OK to close the Workstation Level Setup window.
- Click File and select Exit to close the LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage software.
- Launch LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage.
- Click File on the menu bar and select Setup, General, and Workstation Level to open the Workstation Level Setup window.
- Click Additional Program Setup to open the Additional Integration Setup window.
- Verify that the Adobe box is checked.
- Click OK to close the Additional Integration Setup window.
- Click OK to close the Workstation Level Setup window.
- Open Adobe to verify that the PA Save icon is now on the toolbar.
