Problem Description:

LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage cannot detect the communication (COM) port where the BlackBerry is connected.

Suggested Actions:

  1. Click File on the menu bar and select Synchronize and BlackBerry to open the Practice Advantage Setup for BlackBerry window.
  2. Click Yes to open the Welcome to the Application Loader Wizard window.
  3. Click Next to open the Communication Port Selection window.
  4. Select the COM port associated with the BlackBerry from the Connection window.
  5. Click Next to open the Device Application Selection window.
  6. Click to check the application boxes you want to install on the BlackBerry.
  7. Click Next to open the Completing the Application Loader Wizard window.
  8. Click Finish to close the Completing the Application Loader Wizard window.
  9. Complete the BlackBerry Setup.
