The Phone Pad Desktop Extension
The Phone Pad Desktop Extension helps you keep track of phone calls that you make and receive, or that others receive on your behalf. You can quickly and easily associate phone calls with Contacts and Matters in the database.
The Phone Pad retains stored information even after you remove it from the workspace. Multiple instances of the Phone Pad in different workspace areas also present the same stored information.
The Phone Pad consists of the main Phone Pad window, where you enter information about phone calls, and the Phone List window, where you manage your phone call entries.
Open Phone Call Viewer
Opens the Phone Call Viewer, which lists your phone calls and gives you options for saving them as Phone records in the database.
Enter the name of a Contact in the database or the initials of the staff member who called you.
Enter the name of the Matter associated with the phone call.
Enter the name of a Contact in the database or the initials of the staff member whom you called.
Enter a brief description of the nature of the call.
Enter any notes about the call you want to preserve.
Clears the Phone Pad fields so you can add new phone call information.
Convert to Phone record
Select an item in the Phone list and click this button to create a Phone record in the Time Matters database.
Mark as Read
Select an item in the Phone list and click this button to mark the item as Read.
Prints the selected item in the Phone list.
Deletes the selected item in the Phone list.
Enter a word in this field and click the Search icon to search for items in the Phone list that contain that word. The Phone list shows a list of search results. The Search icon in this field changes to a Clear Search icon, which you can click to clear the current search.
Displays a list of all your phone calls.
