Support Life Cycle
We provide technical support for the current version of the Time Matters®, Billing Matters®, and Time Matters with LexisNexis® Total Practice Advantage software as well as the 2 immediate prior versions.
Support is available for these versions through our Time Matters and Billing Matters Annual Maintenance Plan subscriptions and Time Matters with LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage Agreements. The Time Matters and Billing Matters Annual Maintenance Plan subscriptions and Time Matters with LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage Agreements include phone-based support, new software releases and service packs, and access to the Time Matters Mobility Services (for customers using Time Matters 11 and higher), and web based Anytime Training courses.
If you have a current Time Matters or Billing Matters Annual Maintenance Plan subscription, or Time Matters with LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage Agreement, we assist with upgrading from older versions of the product to a currently supported version. We strongly encourage you to regularly upgrade to the most recent version of the software to take advantage of new features and enhancements, as well as continue to keep your software running smoothly.
All Billing Matters Accounting Features to be Discontinued December 31, 2013
The accounting portion of the Billing Matters software is in Maintenance Mode and will discontinue on December 31, 2013. This includes the following features:
After December 31, 2013, there will not be any software updates, upgrades, service packs, or hotfixes issued, and no phone-based support or training provided to customers, including those with active Billing Matters Annual Maintenance Plan subscriptions. The Billing Matters billing features will remain in the program. Additionally, the Basic Billing feature of the Time Matters software will not change. Time Matters 9, Billing Matters 9 and Time Matters with LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage 9 Discontinued on April 30, 2013
We discontinued all phone-based support, additional user sales, service packs, hotfix releases, and online Anytime Training courses for Time Matters 9, Billing Matters 9, and Time Matters with LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage 9, on April 30, 2013. Earlier versions of Time Matters, Billing Matters, and Time Matters with LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage are also not supported.
Time Matters® Browser Edition Discontinued on December 31, 2012
Time Matters Browser Edition, also referred to as World Server, was discontinued on December 31, 2012. After December 31, 2012, you can still use a remote solution, such as Microsoft Windows® Terminal Server, to open the Time Matters software.
