Using the Date Calculator
Take the following steps to use the Date Calculator to calculate a date:
- Click Calendar on the menu bar and select Date Calculator to open the Date Calculator window.
- Click to highlight a From Date on the left side of the screen.
- Click Calculator.
- Select an existing Timetable from the Set Using Timetable drop-down list or use the checkboxes under 2. Or Enter Settings Here to calculate the date manually .

Description
Count Weekend Days:
Saturday and Sunday are counted.
Count all Legal Holidays in Date Range:
This setting determines if Legal Holidays are counted in the Date Calculation. If checked, Legal Holidays are counted. The Legal Holiday must be entered in the Special Dates List and Indicated that the date is a Legal Holiday.
Date to:
If the Date Calculator counts the Days to Due Date and determines it will fall on a weekend or holiday, the date can be automatically moved to the Prior, Next, or Closer Workday (non-weekend, non-holiday).
Alerts to:
If the Date Calculator counts the Days to Due Date and determines that any of the resulting Alerts will fall on a weekend or holiday, the Alert can be automatically moved to the Prior, Next, or Closer Workday (non-weekend, non-holiday).
Add_Mail Days:
Certain deadlines allow a certain number of days for mail delivery. Use this to add a number of mail days.
Count Using:
What length to use for the Count feature. Days, Weeks, Months, Quarters, Years are the time increments available.
Time Matters highlights the To Date on the right side of the screen.
